DH821 Calling Button Configure (DH-Hybrid)

Default Button Calling Address

Default calling (DH-Hybrid)

Without updating the key table mapping files, setting DIP4 to ON will call DXG address 1 and monitor 1 based on the button ID. After 32 button IDs, it will call DXG address 2 and monitor 1.

Downside up

Set DIP5 to ON to get the buttons ID reverse, the corresponding default calling address will change as well.

Customize Bottom Calling Address.

KMT (Key Migration Table) file is a JSON file (KEYID_MAPPING.json) that could be uploaded to the DH821 via SD card for customize bottom calling address.

KEYID_MAPPING.json

The file includes 4 main values, together identify a button calling to specifical device

DS_ID

Door station address, which door station

KEY_ID

The button ID, which key

DXG_ADDR

The DXG address, which DXG

IM_ADDR

The monitor address, which monitor

A key migration item is some values in the “TB_DAT” field of the KEYID_MAPPING.json as below:

"TB_DAT": [ { "DS_ID": 1, "KEY_ID": 1, "IX_ADDR": "0099010101" }]

DS_ID means the door station address (if the parameter is 0, means for all addresses)

KEY_ID means the key on the DH821, the original key address

IX_ADDR needs to paragraph the parameter 0099 is a fixed prefix, 01 means the DXG address, 01 after means the DT-IM address, and 01 is a fixed suffix.

Create KEYID_MAPPING.json

Download this application (runs on Windows 10/11)

Add and edit the table

  1. Click “Batch Add”

  1. With the follow window input the value needed, the adding according to the IM start and end will create multi-item

    • DS_ID, the door station address.

    • DXG_ADDR, the DXG address.

    • KEY_ID start: the KEY ID starts, +1 automatically for multi-item.

    • IM_ADDDR start/end: for this adding, the start address and end address.

For example, with the above value you will create a table with DS1’s button from 33 to 43, calling DXG 2, monitor 1 to 10.

  1. Export as “KEYID_MAPPING.json”

    • Export, select path to create “KEYID_MAPPING.json”

    • Exprt to SD card, select the partition, and creates include the folder and create “KEYID_MAPPING.json”

 

 

Update the KMT file to DH821.

Copy file to SD card

Copy the “KEYID_MAPPING.json” file to the SD card, path as below:

SD card://TbUpdate/KEYID_MAPPING.json

Update file to DH821 via SD card

When the DH821 is completely powered up and on standby (at least 1min after power up)

Click in the SD card first, and set the 2bit DIP's DIP2 to on, with a “long beep + short beep” which means the upload is finished.

After update the file, DIP4 for DH821 to switch calling between DH and Hybird system will lost it uses.

To get default DIP4 working, simply update a empty “KEYID_MAPPING.json” to SD card.

The file could be create by the software, click “delete all” to make sure there is no data, and export the file.
