RES Update

Customization (RES) updates usually for updating customization files, such as logo, voice, and languages.

Copy RES file to SD card

Download and copy firmware to SD card, the file structure must as below, all firmware files must storage in folder “RES” in the root directory of SD card

Firmware files as below:

                        R8100_XXXXX.zip
                        R8100_XXXXX2.zip
                        R8100_XXXXX3.zip

RES file must start with “R8100”.

Update RES to IX850

Insert the SD card with RES files, and in “Installer Mode”, tap “Installer Mode” → “Advanced tools” → “RES Manager” → “Restore form SD”

And select the correct RES file.

Update RES to IX471

In “Quick Menu”, or manually get into quick menu, “Settings” → “Installer” → “Onsite tools” and tap “RES” icon → “Restore form SD”

And select the correct RES file.

Update RES to IX610/IX821

Due to door station hasn’t got a screen, update could only do with a connected monitor, copy files same as others and insert to the monitor.

On the monitor with SD card, search and locate target IX610 or IX821 via onsite tools.

Refer “Onsite tool” for more information.

In remote configure of the door station, tap “More”, if “RES” folder is existing you will see “RES Manage” -> “Restore form SD”

And select the correct RES file.
