Calling to APP without Monitor

What is virtual user

Virtual user is user without physical monitor but call directly to APP, virtual user could also unlock doors via door station. (Maximum 32 for each system)

Open

Manage virtual user

Virtual user mange menu

When IX850 in “Installer Mode”, tap “Installer Mode” -> “Settings” -> “Virtual user”

Open

Add virtual user

In “Virtual user”, tap “Add by manual”. Could only add on DS1.

·         RM_ADDR:  As virtual user, it is same with monitor, input 4 digits RM_Nbr. (If room number duplicate with a real monitor, virtual user will not be vailed)

·         Global_Nbr: Global_Nbr for this virtual user.

·         Local_Nbr: Local_Nbr for this virtual user.

·         Add virtual user:  Apply and add one virtual user (here will require internet connection)

RM_Nbr/Global_Nbr/Local_Nbr are Call_Nbr settings for this virtual user, using for inputs in calling.

View and Delete

In “Virtual user”, tap “🗑” to delete a virtual user. Could only delete on DS1.

Manage a Virtual User

Tap “virtual user” in the list needed to manage a virtual user.

Manage settings as below:

·         Manage password, 4 digits, input “Call_Nbr + Manage password” for end user into his “Manage settings menu”

·         Unlock code, Unlock password for this virtual user.

Refer unlock password appendix to see how it works.

·         Sip account, show “QR code” for this virtual user’s APP registration.

·         Call test, tap to call to APP.

·         RM_ADDR, current virtual user’s RM_ADDR.

·         Global_Nbr, Global_Nbr for this virtual user.

·         Local_Nbr, Local_Nbr for this virtual user.

·         Name, Name for this virtual user. (this will display in door station namelist)

RM_Nbr/Global_Nbr/Local_Nbr/Name are Call_Nbr settings for this virtual user, using for inputs in calling.

Synchronize Virtual user data

Synchronize only requires on below:

·         SS scenario with multi door stations.

·         NS scenario with common door station.

Tap “⚙” beside “Add by manual” to synchronize.

Sync to device: sync this door station’s virtual user to doors stations in same BD_Nbr and CDS

Sync from device: sync virtual user data from another DS1

Backup, restore and clean data

Tap “⚙” beside “Add by manual” to back up and restore.

Backup to SD: backup “virtual user” data to SD card.

Restore from SD: Restore “virtual user” data from SD card.

Clear RES data: clear all virtual user data.

How to operate a virtual user

For user to manager his own virtual user

Input virtual user’s Call_Nbr + Manage password, (input way same as unlock code)

Example: a virtual user using RM_Nbr=0008, and manage password is 7425, on door station to manage this virtual user by unlock with “00087425”, leading 0 could be ignored.

Register to VDP Connect APP

Tap “Sip account” in virtual user manage menu, it will display the QR code for register.

Calling

Calling to virtual user just as normal monitor, calling by, RM_Nbr, Global_Nbr, Local_Nbr and Name.

Unlock on door station

Same as monitor, by private unlock password, by using “Call_Nbr + unlock code” to unlock
