What is the Quad view

If you have multiple door stations or multiple cameras in a system, that IX471S allow you to view four images at the same time from different video sources.

How to use Quad view

1. Monitoring by Quad menu

main menu → Monitor → Quad

2. Monitoring by “MONITOR” button

“MONITOR” button is a shortcut to enter to “Monitor” menu in standby.

we can set it to Quad function via “shortcut”.

How it works and set

1. Display via Auto

In the first time, or not do the setting work, touch main menu → Monitor → Quad

Four split screens will be displayed, and each screen image comes from the door station or IP camera connected to the system.

If the number is exactly four, all of them will be displayed.

If less than four, the insufficient part will be displayed as none.

If more than four, four of them are randomly displayed, the source and location of each display may be different.

2. Display via setting rules

User can re-set it and chose four video resources as default.

in Quad, touch the re-set icon and the screen will clear. Then the user can click and add the surveillance video sources he wants one by one.

after adding, it will be saved and shown in next touch.

3 . Display switch by simple touch

In the quadrant screen, click any small image to switch to the large image, and click the symbol to return

4. Four-screen simultaneous recording

In the quadrant screen，click the record symbol at the right corner of screen, all four image will recorded.

if without SD card, it will record 3s video; if with SD card, it will record 10s video.

all the recorded video are separate to different resources.

5. Record play back

In “Call record” , → play back

to check and delete.
