Call_Nbr Strategy
The Call_Nbr consist of :
Device_Addr
Local_Nbr
Global_Nbr
Name
Different projects have different requirements on calling number, some projects’s RM_Nbr is matched with the calling number, we call it Regular digital numbers , some projects require alphanumeric, or shortcut call, what is more, to make group call and etc. (we call it Irregular numbers requirement)
Thanks to Call_Nbr, all these requirements can be achieved.
Regular digital numbers
In most installation, the RM_ADDR is matched with the calling number, so it is easy to make a call as below:
On block Door Station, input RM_Nbr (1~4 digital numbers)
On common Door Station, input BD_Nbr & RM_Nbr (5~8 digital numbers)
What you can do more?
set the calling number digits
set the timing and min/max digits of auto call mode
Irregular numbers
Thanks to the Call_Nbr, we can solve the problem of irregular number calls . These settings can be directly operated on the local machine or configured in the resource file in the tool.
We have listed the following requirements and examples
Appendix
Regular digital numbers call in building
In the SS (standalone apartment) , use the RM_Nbr as the calling number on block door station.
the default RM_Nbr is 4 digits, zero out before number is supported when calling.
In the NS (Network system) , use the BD_Nbr+RM_Nbr as the calling number on common door station.
the default BD_Nbr+RM_Nbr is 8 digits, zero out before number of BD_Nbr is supported when calling.
In the list calling mode, to make a call, you can sort by RM_Nbr or Name

Alphanumeric /shortcut calls in building
In some projects, it is necessary to call monitors with fixed numbers or alphanumeric.
Local_Nbr is used to realize it when make a call on the block door station
Global_Nbr is used to realize it when make a call on the common door station
you also can make the Name to make a call in list.

Group call and Intercom between monitors
In some special project, there is a requirement for group calling, that is, different indoor units can be called together via one time calling and at the same, indoor units still support intercom function.
The IX system provides the possibility for this requirement, assign different addresses to the different indoor units to get the point to point intercom function, and realizing the group call through Local_Nbr or Global_Nbr setting.

Separate call to one monitor
In some special project, there is a requirement for separate calling. For example, in some office buildings, where multiple companies share a receptionist, different company names need to be displayed on the door station, but the same monitor is called.
The IX system provides the possibility for this requirement, if use Keypad call, support max.3 different ways to call one monitor, if use List call, no limited on quantity.
