Quick Test
Quick test for simple the use of DH-LAN.
Test with one door station first, before connecting with more than 1DS you shall read
Test Case 1 DH-LAN with IP camera.
Camera request, static IP address, ONVIF, H.264, resolution no more than 1920*1080

2. Configure IP camera
IP address
The system is without a router(DHCP).
IP address range: 192.168.240.2 - 192.168.255.254 IP address mask: 255.255.240.0
For example:
IP: 192.168.243.180 Mask:255.255.240.0
Stream output
Main(1st) streaming: 1920*1080, H.264
3. Power up
Power up all devices
4. Setup
Menu for DH-LAN IP Camera
Tap “Settings” → “Ext.Unit” → “IPC camera”
Search and add an IP camera
Tap “Add by search”, tap the camera in the list, and input access to log in.
Tap “Save”

Test Case 2 DH-LAN as the cable Internet connection.
Get internet with the DH-LAN connected to cable internet.
1. Wiring
The router will need to provide DHCP services.
This page will not contain a static IP test optional* (DH622/DH821 IP not configurable)
The IP camera test is optional. If you don’t have one, you could still test with cable internet.

3. Setup
3.1 Monitor Address Setup
This refers to the “DH622/DH850/DH821” test guide setup address; monitor in addresses 1 and 2.
3.2 Modify APP network to “LAN”
On the monitor, tap “Settings” → “Manager”, tap “Wi-Fi switch” to ON, and select the Wi-Fi name in the list, input the password, and connect.
3.3 Connect to VDP APP and test.

Test Case 3 DH-LAN as capacitor/distance extend
The capacitor of one 2-wire loop is 16 monitors, which needs more monitors, the additional accessory will require, usually DH-SW4, but you could use DH-LAN with a LAN switch too.

Make sure all DIP on the DH-LAN module as configured shows, before powering up.
DIP settings only check once after powering on, so has to be set before powering up.
