IP Camera
As for the choice of IP camera, DX door station system is compatible with almost all brands of IP camera on the market, which is better than the previous IPG solution.
An IP camera could be added to it, as long as this IPC could support following video codec: H264B、H264、H264H、H265、H265+
MJEPG decoding is not supported
Some IPC can support both audio and video streams, please select video stream
How to add
Pre-configured
DX821 and IPC are required on the same network segment
Use DX-APP to set the DX821 as a static address and the two as the same segment
Connect DX821 to the DHCP router and change the IPC address to the same segment
In the second case, even if the DX821 uses DHCP mode, the IPC needs to be set to the static IP address of the same segment
Connection
if only one IPC access requirement, directly connecting the IPC to the LAN port of DX821.
if more than one IPC, needs a SWITCH ( no need PoE )
When wireless IPC access is required, ROUTER must be available in the system
ADD
Automatically add (Precondition, IPC account password is fixed, admin/admin)
Step: After the device is connected, press the TK-B button of DX821 for ten seconds.
Manually add (use XD-Device APP)
Step: Enter the menu settings
Various scenarios of XD-Device APP connection (On-site & Remote）
Delete
Use the menu of XD-Device APP to delete
The accessed IPC can only be a public IPC
How it works
Monitor
Unlike the old version of the system, the user can view the IPC image not only from the indoor monitor， but also from the APP of VDP Connect.
Video experience upgrade
When one or more IPCs are connected to the system, the user can select the quad screen to monitor images from different recourses at one time; when the call is answered, the user can see the PiP image.
Note that the Quad screen displays one DS image and three IPC image by default
