Products with Access Card function

IX850 series

DR modular in IX821 series

Card types

supports two kinds of cards, EM cards and Mifare cards, which are 124Khz and 13.56Mhz cards. And also support NFC use. The mobile access via NFC lets users go cardless and touchless, which is more convenient and safer.

Manage cards in IX850

Add Cards

Few card addition

Make sure the door station’s BD_Nbr is correct before managing cards. Not allow change BD_Nbr after adding cards. (cards won’t work if change BD_Nbr for the door station after cards added)

If we only need to add a single card, or few cards, we can do it via IX850 directly.

In “Manage menu”: “Access Cards” -> “Add”

Or in installer mode: “Installer Mode” -> “Settings” -> 3rd page “Access Cards” -> “Add”

Room, Name and Card ID as below:

Room: is used to Identity which room the card belongs to. Manually input (by input) a 4 digits RM_Nbr or select from the search list as below. The number display here is BD_RM_Nbr. RM_Nbr = 0000 means public cards in this building.

Name: Input “Name” for the card. (Optional)

Card ID: Manually input or tap the card on the reader.

10 digits unique number for card, usually marks on cards

Tap “Save” to add the card. unless “Save” been tap, IX850 will not apply changes.

If multiple door stations are installed in one building, that is, these stations are all the same Bd _ Nbr,

the card can only be configured on one of the them, and then the synchronization operation can be performed on the others.

  • Each building’s (BD_Nbr) card storage in the door station.

  • Cards could only release door lock 1.


Batch card addition

 If you have determined the number of cards to be issued and the person name, you can also enter the card information in the computer once, and then import it into the door station.

 For example, if there are ten residents in one building and each needs two cards,

We could do use a file “R8009 _ 0099”. input the card number, room number, name ..ect. One by one

Then copy the document to the SD card and in IX850, into the installer mode,

 settings, page3, access cards, card data, restore from SD.

Synchronize the card data

Cards databases synchronize only requires when:

  • In SS scenario and with more than one door station.

  • In NS scenario with public door station.

Once the door station has cards database, cards could work on the door station no need to add once again. Synchronize cards to or form a door station as below:

Manage menu: “Access Cards” -> “Card data”

Installer mode: “Installer Mode” -> “Settings” -> “Access Cards” -> “Card data”

Sync to device: Sync this door station’s card database to other door stations with same BD_Nbr and CDS (common door station).

Sync from device: Sync database from door station with same BD_Nbr.

in SS, the add card operation only can do in one of the door station, and then synchronized to the others or actively obtained on other door stations.

in NS, the data of DS will be added to CDS via sync, but the data of CDS will not allowed to be synchronized to DS.

Backup and Restore

Manage menu: “Access Cards” -> “Card data”

Installer mode: “Installer Mode” -> “Settings” -> “Access Cards” -> “Card data”

Menu options as below:

Backup to SD: back cards only related to this door station to SD card (/R8009/xxxx.csv)

Restore from SD: restore cards form SD card.

Each building’s card storage in each building’s door station, which means:

  • Replace monitor, no hurts to card database.

  • Replace door station, needs restore and back database.

  • Replace common door station, needs to sync card database once again. (not support to back up in common door station)

View and Delete Cards

In access card menu, tap “View” to check current cards.

Search card or cards by fill scope as below:

Room: 4 digits RM_Nbr (could only manage with same BD_Nbr)

Name: card’s name. (accurate match)

Card ID: input 10 digits card ID

Date: create date (YYYYMMDD)

Search: show all cards in the database.

Or tap the card directly need to check to show the card’s detail.

or in Card data menu, use Clear RES data: clean all cards in this door station, must reboot.

Manage cards in IX821-DR

Manage via monitor

  • Cards manage via monitor is remotely configure database on door station.

  • Access card information stored in the door station with same BD_Nbr and DS_Nbr = 1.

Add Cards

On monitor, “Settings” ->”Manager” -> “Card manage” -> “Add a card”

RM_ADDR: the device’s Room_Addr, read-only.

ID: Manually input 10 digits card number.

User name: Input “Name” for the card. (Optional)

Date: the device's current date regard as the card’s create date.

Tap “Save” to apply changes.

View and Delete card

In “Card Manage”:

“Card list” to list all cards, tap to check details or delete.

“Delete all” delete all cards relate to this Room_Addr
