Note before update

Should use different firmwares according to the chips, comparison as below.

Open

For chip STM8

If using chip STM8L051F3, the FW version should be [20200827] V000100 or below.

Now should update to [20211229] V000101.

Download the firmware to the device

step1：Make connection “Device - ST-LINK - PC”

• Use a 4pin cable to connect ST-LINK with the board of device

• Also use a Mini USB cable to link the ST-LINK to the PC, then the LED of ST-LINK should be ALWAYS ON (if the LED is flashing, please do the reconnection, or reopen the STVP software)

step2：Download the firmware to the device.

For chip STM32

If using chip STM32G030F6, the FW version should be [20211208] V000200 or below.

Now should update to [20211229] V000201.

Settings of software STM32CubeProgrammer

1. Double-click to run the well-installed software STM32CubeProgrammer

2. Open the firmware of video door phone device, this firmware ends with “.hex”.
   
   

3. Make connection “Device - ST-LINK - PC”

• Use a 6pin cable to connect ST-LINK with the board of device

• Also use a Mini USB cable to link the ST-LINK to the PC, then the LED of ST-LINK should be ALWAYS ON (if the LED is flashing, please do the reconnection, or reopen the STM32 software)
