Namelist file edit

Note: If without TFT requirement, and each BDU support 32 monitors, no need to write namelist file, can use MK or M4 to call directly.

Namelist file is a Unicode TXT file “Namelist.txt”, which is put into folder “Namelist.bin”. Should be wrote in 821/VD moudle, then 821/TFT will show up the namelist for options to call, and 821/MK could be tap keypads to call as well.

“Namelist.txt” should be edited by this formula: [Button][Name][BDU Gateway address][BDU Router address][Monitor address]
Button: Button address. It is for 821/M4 or 821/MK, to physically tap button / buttons to call. (Note: In the same “Namelist.txt”, [Button] should not be duplicated.)

Name: User’s name will be display if 821/TFT module is connected.
BDU Gateway address: BDU gateway address which the monitor connected with, 08~15 represent
to address 01~08, 00 means BDU not connected or not in gateway mode. Generally let’s edit it as 00.
BDU Router address: BDU router address which the monitor connected with, 01~08 represent to
address 01~08, 00 means BDU not connected or not in router mode.
Monitor address: It means Monitor’s address. To “link” the Button above.

e.g.1: [2][Bob][00][00][04], then Press button 2 on 821/MK or 821/M4, will call indoor monitor with address 04. And tap “Bob” displayed on 821/TFT will call the monitor as well.
e.g.2: [201][Ana][00][02][01], then tap "201"on 821/MK module will call the 2nd BDU's 1st monitor. And tap “Ana” displayed on 821/TFT will call the monitor as well.

Namelist update on 821/VD

It means write Namelist file to 821/VD by SD card, as below.

Step 1, on computor open a micro SD card, and creat a folder named “Namelist.bin“ in the root directory.

Step 2, inside folder “Namelist.bin“, create a text file named “Namelist.txt”.

Step 3, open “Namelist.txt”, and edit it by the formula above, according to the requirement of a project.

Step 4, power off door station and wait for 30s, and then power on door station, and then set DIP6 to ON. Then insert this SD card into the slot (on the right side of main module), as below. And with a beep means the door station is in updating, end with 2 beeps means the update is finish.
