Card attributes and notices

Attributes

To have a better index while managing cards, each card’s attributes as below:

• Card ID: 10digits unique number for card, usually marks on cards.

• Room_Addr: Identity which room the card belongs to. (If RM_Nbr = 0000 means is a public card no belongs)

• Name: The card’s name, different from the “Name” for a monitor.

• Date: Create the Date of the card.

Notices

• Each building’s (BD_Nbr) card storage in the door station.

• Cards could only release door lock 1.

Manage cards in SS scenario

This chapter are applied only with below condition.

• In SS scenario, for only 1 building.

• With only one door station, no card sync between different doors requires

• Cards manage on IX821 could only done with monitor.
  

Manage via door station IX850

Add cards

In “Manage menu”: “Access Cards” -> “Add”

Or in installer mode: “Installer Mode” -> “Settings” -> 3rd page “Access Cards” -> “Add”

Room, Name and Card ID as below:

Room: Manually input (by input) a 4 digits RM_Nbr or select from the search list as below. The number display here is BD_RM_Nbr. RM_Nbr = 0000 means public cards in this building.

Name: Input “Name” for the card. (Optional)

Card ID: Manually input or tap the card on the reader.

Tap “Save” to add the card. unless “Save” been tap, IX850 will not apply changes.

View and Delete Cards

In access card menu, tap “View” to check current cards.

Search card or cards by fill scope as below:

Room: 4 digits RM_Nbr (could only manage with same BD_Nbr)

Name: card’s name. (accurate match)

Card ID: input 10 digits card ID

Date: create date (YYYYMMDD)

Search: show all cards in the database.

Or tap the card directly need to check to show the card’s detail.

Card/cards search result as below:

Manage via monitor IX471/IX439

• Cards manage via monitor is remotely configure database on door station.

• Access card information stored in the door station with same BD_Nbr and DS_Nbr = 1.

Add Cards

On monitor, “Settings” -> “Card manage” -> “Add one card”

RM_ADDR: the device’s Room_Addr, read-only.

ID: Manually input 10 digits card number.

User name: Input “Name” for the card. (Optional)

Date: the device's current date regard as the card’s create date.

Tap “Save” to apply changes.

View and Delete card

In “Card Manage”:

“Card list” to list all cards, tap to check details or delete.

“Delete all” delete all cards relate to this Room_Addr

Synchronize Access Card

Cards databases synchronize only requires when:

• In SS scenario and with more than one door station.

• In NS scenario with public door station.

Once the door station has cards database, cards could work on the door station no need to add once again. Synchronize cards to or form a door station as below:

Manage menu: “Access Cards” -> “Card data”

Installer mode: “Installer Mode” -> “Settings” -> “Access Cards” -> “Card data”

Sync to device: Sync this door station’s card database to other door stations with same BD_Nbr and CDS (common door station).

Sync from device: Sync database from door station with same BD_Nbr.

Backup, restore and clean card database

Manage menu: “Access Cards” -> “Card data”

Installer mode: “Installer Mode” -> “Settings” -> “Access Cards” -> “Card data”

Menu options as below:

Backup to SD: back cards only related to this door station to SD card (/R8009/xxxx.csv)

Restore from SD: restore cards form SD card.

Clear RES data: clean all cards in this door station, must reboot.
