Application Description

VDP connect is an application designed for making video calls between Android or iOS powered devices and IX station communicators. Get the application via the Google Play or APP store.

it helps you make calls between a Smartphone and IX device.

Application Environment and Configuration

Upon the VDP connect start, the following screen will get displayed (Devices):

Click the “ (blue star) “ in the left-hand upper corner to expand the main menu.

The main menu includes the following items:

  • Account – scan entrance; SIP account info

  • Settings – use this menu to set up “Audio” “ Video” “ Call” “Network” parameters

  • Language – 23 kinds languages included

  • About  – version of the application

Except for language setting requirements and scanning code to login, other default settings can be applied.

Application Login and LAN devices

Users can log in by scanning the QR code on their IX monitor with the APP, and the online device will be automatically pulled.

Info

The main page displays the automatically added IX devices, which are currently located in one and the same LAN. Each device has a unique IP address.

Each devices can edit their name in system.

Note

To ensure that all devices are available, need to verify that all devices are connected to the SIP server and that “ (blue star) “ icons are correctly displayed in each machine.

After each “user default” operation, need to scan the QR code to log in again.

Push notification and Preview

Talking

  • Hand-free by default & Max.90s for talk time

  • Push PTT to talk if too noisy

Unlock

  • When it is on talking.

  • When it surveillance door station.

  • Unlock the second lock.

Monitor

  • Switch to view multi-door stations/IP Cameras

  • Push PTT to talk with door stations
